What is Rams on the Rise?

Rams on the Rise is our Athletics Days of Giving! A dedicated period where the Cornell College community—alumni, parents, friends, and fans—come together to support our athletic programs. The funds raised will directly benefit our student-athletes and the resources they need to succeed.

  

When is Rams on the Rise?

Rams on the Rise is from October 23, 2024 to October 25, 2024. The event takes place over three days to give everyone a chance to participate.

  

Who can participate?

Anyone! Whether you’re a Cornell College alum, parent, student, faculty member, or fan of Cornell Athletics, you’re encouraged to participate. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.

  

How do I make a gift?

Making a gift is easy! Visit the homepage during Rams on the Rise, select the athletic program or fund you wish to support, and follow the instructions to complete your donation. You can also make a gift by phone with our toll-free number at 877.683.7666 or by mail if you prefer.

Can I designate my gift to a specific team?

Absolutely! You can choose to direct your donation to a specific team, general athletics, or other areas such as sports medicine, strength and conditioning, or athletics communications. Just select your preferred designation when making your gift.

   

Why should I give during Rams on the Rise?

Rams on the Rise is a special opportunity to show your Ram pride and make a direct impact on Cornell College’s athletic programs. Your support helps enhance the experience of our student-athletes, ensuring they have the tools they need to excel both as athletes and students on and off the field, court and mat.

  

Is there a minimum donation amount?

Donations of $1 or more can be accepted. Every contribution, regardless of size, is valued and helps us reach our goals.

 

How will my gift be used?

Your gift will be used to directly support the area you designate. Whether you choose to support a specific team or a broader area like Rams Athletics, your donation will go toward enhancing the athletic experience for our student-athletes.

  

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, all gifts to Cornell College are tax-deductible as allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your donation, which you can use for tax purposes.

  

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

All donors will receive an email receipt shortly after making their donation. If you need a mailed receipt, please contact 877.683.7666 or giving@cornellcollege.edu.

  

When will my credit card be charged?

Your debit/credit card will be charged upon completion of your donation.

 

How can I help spread the word?

You can help by sharing information about Rams on the Rise on social media, emailing friends and family, or talking about it with fellow Cornellians. Use the hashtags #RamsOnTheRise, #RollRams, and/or #RamsRaise to join the conversation and show your support.
